I don't know if this is a really old issue, but when I get to the end of the Shiver level (where I have to find her with my 5 units and fight off all those thrall), I get to the end, the in-game drama unfolds, and then the screen stops at the shot of the deviever dead, and shiver standing above him, and my troops in the background. One would expect the game to end at this point and the post-game thing to come up, but it doesn't. The game is not frozen, it is still animating and making noises, but I cannot do anything (all my units are neutral). I am running version 1.5 on Mac OS X 10.3.6. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a known bug with the scripting of that level. Normally, the deceiver is supposed to kill Shiver first. Try playing the level again.

seems like this bug has been popping up a lot recently.

Yeah. I've played a game to test just to make sure that it doesn't always happen today.. and it ended normally.

Perhaps certain settings like difficulty level affect this? I played on normal difficulty, what about you Perfection?

I have the bug too. It doesn't bother me. The Deciever lives on in my spirit. :::cheezy heroic music:::

I will admit that this had never happened to me before, nor had I heard of it happening until about four months ago. From what I understand it only happened about 1% of the time in Myth 2 1.3, but that it has been happening a lot more in 1.5. After some experiments, I have found a way to recreate the problem nearly every time: Anti-Clumping.

Now this may not be the only reason why it is happening more often, and for all I know some of you may get this problem without Anti-Clump, but in the film where I saw it happen the very first time, the game was played in anti-clump, and I have been able to recreate it by simply turning on anti-clump.

But then, I don't know anything -_- :nocomment:
