Apparently the "L paladin heal burst 1" is preventing my version of Mazzarin's Demise 5 from running. I activate the plug-in, double-click it, and never make it past the loading screen. A real shame, as I've heard some truly great things about this rendition of MD. If anyone knows what the problem is, and why I alone seem to be experiencing it, I would very much appreciate a solution of some kind. Here is my log.

Running Direct3D (NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700) at 1600 x 1200, 16 bit
Starting mesh "Mazzarin's Demise V" with 1 plugin...
Magma - Mazz Demise V
Error: Array Full in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #301: there are no more free object definitions for ' L paladin heal burst 1'.
Error: Array Full in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #584: projectile definition postprocess failed on ' L paladin heal burst'.
Warning: Unable to find cutscene 'prologue.smk'.

Also, when MD 5 is active, I receive inexplicable errors when trying to run other maps, even original ones. For example, here's the log for Willow Creek:

Starting mesh "Willow Creek"...
Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #499: couldn't read header for collection reference definition 'twnm'.
Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #584: mesh_effect definition postprocess failed on 'MEEF Belial Defense Xplosion'.

Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #584: projectile definition postprocess failed on 'PROJ Belial Long Range 01'.
Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #499: couldn't read header for object definition 'obbb'.
Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #584: projectile definition postprocess failed on 'PROJ Belial Dying Body'.
Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #499: couldn't read header for object definition 'twio'.
Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #584: projectile definition postprocess failed on 'PROJ Belial Sword'.
Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #499: couldn't read header for object definition 'twio'.
Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #584: projectile definition postprocess failed on 'PROJ Belial Staff Falling'.
Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #499: couldn't read header for projectile definition 'bath'.
Error: File system Open in .\Myth2Code\definitions.c, line #584: projectile group definition postprocess failed on 'balor's body'.

Scourge of Belial isn't active, nor are any other mods aside from MD 5, so why would I be getting errors which are undeniably assosiated with SoB? Very strange indeed.

Oh, and yes, I DL'ed MD 5 from this site, just in case the plug-in is hosted elsewhere.

I apologize for the length of this post, but I feel that the contents of the myth.log that I posted here may be integral to finding a solution to this problem, and I very much wish to try MD 5. My thanks to anyone willing to assist me.

Are you running 1.5.1, and is your local folder empty?

Thanos, I think Iron is right and you must be running a version of Myth II earlier than 1.5.1. If this is the case, you can download the update to 1.5.1 from this site.

Even once you're all fixed up, I don't suggest trying to load any other levels while you have the Mazz V plugin active. Good luck and let me know if you're able to work it out. Oh, and by the way, check back soon on this site for version 2 of Mazzarin's Demise V which will fix a rather unfortunate bug in version 1.

I tried emptying my local folder completely, and it resolved the issue. I must say, MD 5 is absolutely amazing. It is indeed the finest Myth map I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The Magma team should apply at MumboJumbo, and make Myth 4 what we all know it should be. I owe you guys. Thanks. Alot.

Glad it works now, Lord Thanos. And just as glad you like it. :)
