Any non-godly players still out there?

I haven't played myth in about four years, and I'm wondering what the online play environment is like now. What's the population like on a week night? And a little more importantly to me, can someone who was no better than average a few years ago compete (i.e. occasionally win) in what amounts to a pick up game, or are the only people left on the servers the type that know every little bug/ implimentation limit of the game engine and use it to their great advantage?

Probably the vast majority of players are average. Avoid really dumb mistakes and I'm sure you'll win a few once you're warmed up again. As in the past, it's easier to find friendlier games in unranked than in ranked. Anyone who gives a returning player a hard time is a loser with an ego problem anyway, so don't be intimidated.

Myth has evolved, so average then and average now are like playing a different game sometimes. But you'll pick it up.

I'll play when availible. I moved off the Island in Alaska to a city (Fairbanks) in Alaska...maybe my ping will be cut by a factor of three?
But I don't believe I can host :-(
maybe someone will take up on my offer for old time's sake.
