Later Jinn Maps

Apparently, there were two multiplayer maps made after Jinn for use with Jinn's tags. They're called Sludgefest and Sticks & Stones, but I don't know anything else about them. It looks like they require the old Jinn to run, but I'd like to extract them and see what they were like, because all of the Badlands Jinn maps were mind-bogglingly incredible. If permission could be obtained, I'd also be interested in converting them for use with the new Jinn.

Unfortunately, the Map Atlas lists them vaguely as being somewhere on udogs, and I can't find them there. Does anybody know a location from which they can be downloaded--or would anyone who has them care to upload them somewhere? Does anybody even know anything about them--particularly, were they made by Badlands or by someone else?

Thanks

A-Red

Never heard of Sludgefest, but would love to find it!

But I do have Sticks & Stones and have temporarily posted it here. I only loaded it once long, long ago and thought it looked neat. BTW, this is not the original zip/sit but includes a cleaned-up readme so the PC folks can read it too. ;)

I remember seeing the Jinn "preview movie" way back in 1999 and thought it was just about the coolest thing I'd ever seen. This was just after playing the ultra-cool Assassin solo (where you must assasinate the Samurai General). Shortly after that I discovered the Leggo [sic] maps.

Man, those were the days...

Let me know if you have any problems with the zip, A-Red.

C'mon Sludgefest! :D

Thanks! It works fine. Not quite as stunning as the originals, but still a good looking map. I was right though--it won't run with the new Jinn tagset, so it must rely on some tags from what became the Mappack. I'll check out the log and see what the problem is.

Right. Sorry, I get them confused sometimes. They were both a big deal, made groundbreaking plugs, and died before my time. :P
