Myth II beta has expired

Myth II beta has expired, this is the simple message I get when I try to run myth now. Any idea how to play myth again once this happens? help....

Why expire a version?
I figured it out (set date to a week ago). Why? only 1.5.1 newbs are on, nobobdy to play with ;(
warning would have been nice.

Yes 1.6 beta has now expired and we have failed to finish 1.6 because of some last minute details came up and they have yet to delt with. For the time being going back to 1.5.1 is everyones best option until we ship the final 1.6 version.
Sorry for the inconvience, it wasn't supposed to happen this way.

the old links are still there too, trial and error works.
PB, or public beta, ah feeling lucky?
remove the out-dated files soon someone? Much confusion still.

This is a fix for Mac users only (sorry PC people!!!):
Use the Myth II 1.6 app instead of the Myth II (OS X only) app...for some reason the Classic compatible version doesn't have an expiration date.

omm I guess it's not obvious but all the links on thetain.net should give you Build 286. The "Update - PB" ones are for people who are updating from 1.5.1 or above as indicated below the link. The other ones give you a full update from any version of Myth II. If this isn't true please post Mac or Windows version and what build it did install.

whats the difference between 1.6 any version windows and 1.6 1.51 version windows....?
