the bottom contorl bar doesnt light up when you click on the tabs anymore ... It worked on 1.4.x and 1.3 for me but it doesnt work on the 1.5.x ... any reasons why?
I have a G4 1ghz powerbook 15in 64mb radeon, 512ram OS 9.2.2and use RAVE 800x600 for m2.
The odd thing is that the bottom control doesn't have that problem on software rendering .. but its just too damn ugly to play it on software, help plz.

I have the same computer as you. Try using it in OS X. Runs better too 
Also, use OpenGl with that Radeon 9000Pro, its more compatible.
