TFL Maps that are NOT in the Magma TFL Pack

The ground work has begun on my next tournament. It's a long ways off from being announced, but what I'm looking for now is a list of TFL maps that have been ported to M2 but are NOT in ProjectMagma's TFL Pack. What I'm also looking for are a list of TFL maps that have NOT been ported to Myth2 yet, but should be and are suitable for tournament play.

It doesn't matter if they are 2-Team maps or FFA maps, just make sure they're nothing outlandish (like NZ40 or Stirling... although those would be fun to have on the M2 platform as well).

Last but not least, are there any persons interested in porting maps from TFL to M2 that will be featured in tournament play by dozens of players, not to mention the rest of the Myth community, that have not been ported yet? I will be gathering up people to form my staff for this next project in the coming weeks. For now, the biggest thing is the list of maps.

Here is a list of good TFL maps that do not appear to have been ported to Myth 2 yet:

A Calling Ktulu; ktuluv4.gor
Battle of Stirling v2.0; Strling2.GOR
Desecration in the Mire; DMMv1.gor
Forged North; forgednorth.gor
Like Blood Through A Sieve; Sieve2.6gor (differs from M2 revision)
Rasin Barn; rasinbarn.gor
Rocky Mountain Moonshine; rocky.gor
The Ring Of Seventeen; TheRingOfSeventeen.gor
Torpidinium; torpidinium.gor
Valley of Ruin; VoRfinal.gor
Wights of Passage; Wop1_2.gor

Stirling 2 isn't that outlandish, you're probably remembering the faux "Historical" mesh. What is NZ40?

NZ40 = North Zerk 40. Its the original rugby/soccer map for Myth. =) The field is absolutely massive compared to the one in Vista's Fetchball for M2.

I think someone tried porting Ktulu a long time ago, but it never made it past beta. Unless thats a different map. Either way, it never saw a final version.

Thanks!

Perhaps the creation of a TFL MapPack Expansion is in order?

...Really? The only port of it that I encountered was terrible.

Yes, it was. It was actually a mere port of the VRPP colormap for a co-op in the "Group Of Co-ops" plugin, which was also dirtily rigged into a multiplayer map with little in common with the original.

I was working on making a decent recreation of the original TFL VRPP a couple of months ago but became distracted since I can't really play Myth currently. It's about 95% complete, I can finish it off if you'd like:

Man, I have wanted to see Torpidinium ported since forever. :)

I have the following three lists in my TFL collection of plugins, but I don't even know what all the maps are...

The first is from the "udogs must have list":

apphotspringsV2.gor
b_wadi.gor
bluntft2.gor
DMMv1.gor
echoes.gor
forgednorth.gor
ktuluv4.gor
love.gor
m_keep.gor
raisinbarn.gor
rocky.gor
Sieve2.6.gor
Strling2.GOR
TheRingOfSeventeen.gor
torpidinium.gor
unity1_1.gor
Unity2.gor
vivid_final.gor
VoRfinal.gor
wop1.2.gor

The second is from the FoG list (on top of the udogs list):

Around the Bend TFL.gor
Bastard.gor
bmfslingfest.gor
crazyglue.gor
Priestess.gor
vrpp.gor

The third was from my own "wanna play someday but never did" list:

darkportal3.gor
eggs.gor
Redemption.gor
Tain.gor

Then there's the Mauriac solo (I think?) that I also never played...

And the Demo v23 plugin that contained some 70+ maps...

I don't think he was asking for a comprehensive list of TFL plugins

nah, but someone with l33t map making/fear/etc skills should take note on the maps mentioned here!

Keep em comin, thanks guys.

If anyone (or group of people) want to get together to work on porting these maps (to be properly tested and released during the weeks leading up to my tournament), please let me know. I know a lot of people have their own projects going on now and the holidays are here as well, but I'm not asking for people to start work on it right this moment. I want to at least get a team of people together that can begin work on a big TFL port project by mid-to-late January. Even if that's not enough time for you, but you would like to help, let me know. If I can get everything moving in the right direction, there will be plenty of room for people to help test maps and give feedback.

Other than the maps with names identical to their file names, the maps are:

apphotspringsV2.gor - appalachian hot springs
b_wadi.gor - blood on the wadi
bluntft2.gor - blunt force trauma
DMMv1.gor - DeadMan's Mire (?)
echoes.gor - Echoes of the Wind Age
ktuluv4.gor - A Calling Ktulu (Which I always assumed was a mispelled but phonetically more accurate version of 'Cthuhlu' - the HPLovecraft demon))
love.gor - love on the moutaintop
m_keep.gor -- keep across the river (written by Mormith who prefaced many/all of his map names with a 'm_'.)
rocky.gor -- Rocky Mountain Moonshine (?)
Sieve2.6.gor - Like Blood Thru a Sieve
Strling2.GOR -- Battle of Stirling
VoRfinal.gor -- Valley of Ruin
wop1.2.gor -- ?? this one i don't know

bmfslingfest.gor -- BMF Slingfest or BMF Pitfall slingfest
Priestess.gor -- return of the high priestess (?)
vrpp.gor -- Voracious Rabbits' Pool Party

eggs.gor -- Green Eggs and Hamlets
Redemption.gor -- Redemption on the Dire Marsh
Tain.gor -- Probably not "Temple of the Tain" because TotT's unzipped filename is 'Temple.gor'. Or maybe there was more than one version with different .gor names?

Then there's the Mauriac solo (I think?) that I also never played...
-- Sir Mauriac's Tale.

And the Demo v23 plugin that contained some 70+ maps...
-- Myth TFL Demo Map Plugin v1.2

All of these are at least mentioned at http://mything.org/maps
