Stoned units

When you double-click on a unit in Loathing, it gives you the option of making that unit 'stone.' According to the documentation, this makes the unit stone upon entering the level. However, I can't get it to work. When I select this option, they're not stone when I start the game.

So...is there a better way to make a unit stoned from the beginning of a map than making something that detonates immediately with a stone damage area of effect detonation?

Nope. The stoning box never worked, I don't know why but it just doesn't. The Area of effect stoning damage seems like the best way. I see no draw back from it anyways.

I seem to recall the stoning box working on Macs....

I am on a Mac :)

Too bad. That box would come in handy once in a while.

it is very handy when you want to affect stampede flags to one and only one team. If a flag is stoned, no one from another team can capture it!

That's the only way I have used the flag to date, and as Zeph says it works brilliantly. It is, in fact, the only way to have team-specific flags afaik.

I never knew that box was useful for anything. Does it have any other uses?

It's also useful if you can't quite reach the top shelf in your kitchen.
