Known tagset bugs...


1.arty attacks are still wacked... still doesnt do much damage... and the impact smoke I was going for isnt showing all the time. it seems it randomly deploys the projectiles in the impact lpg rather then having them all act.

2. Cannons and mortors when picked up don't use ammunition correctly.. only work from the ammunition of the unit not the monster overide...

3. need new artilery and mortor variation attacks... via i

4. cwr horse death animations... still corupt?

5. new additional unit flavor text needed for instructions..

6= collection references sometimes have the wrong uniform on. or no uniform hue. (maybe change color table so when it happens its not so bad?)

7= union can pick up rebel flags visa versa (add rebel monster... though then monster restriction on other items wouldnt work)

8= pick up of canon tender item by replacement soldier collection tweaks since the collections had to be split in two due to corupt tag or sequence limits.

9= wagon shadows look bad?

10. in game hints and level info needs to be updated for cwr.

will need many testers to track down a hue change issue and see if it is random or happens with some logic... so download the latest and please join a game on marius or playmyth thanks...

I looked at game films from the other night.... some fun stuff...


1. as far as not being able to move your cannons at start I heard this complaint a few times... well your cap traded away all the extra artillery men... and even the scripted replacements sent to follow as cannon crew... umm well since this very unwise UT seems to be common I will try and add two groups of arty men those that can be traded and not... since the cannon guys can get shot easily ... its wise to have many replacements to re man the cannon leaving the old b&g script in made one replacement follow the cannons around nicely anyway I didn't anticipate team caps so often going with no spare artillery men..

2. stuck units.. well looked at that saw a few places where units slowed on steep slopes... way point them along roads for quick movements... also saw big groups stuck in fenced in corals well thats another way point issue if you send units across the map they might wander into a place that has only one way in and out... blow the fence and proceed.. :)

3. still having issues with the hue changes not showing some time.. though i think i am getting closer to tracking this one down send me any game films that this happens in thanks...

I will post some teaser films from some of the big games later ... the war is going well....

Test battles again tonight please download... and join in I would like to move toward a beta release soon for testing maps hopefully the alpha testing of the tagset and units is getting close please message me any bugs or ideas and still any help on this would be greatly appreciated...

Had some fun games the last few days.... I have been reluctant to work on anything myth related while there is this dead air so to speak on pmnet ... Until there is a wholesale move to mnet or pmnet again accepts new accounts it seems pointless for me to put more hours into this stuff..

I have a new build ready to go... and if people have comments on CWR 4-09 version let me know there still is a lot of improvement that can be made... just not that inspired to do much while the community seems like its been exiled to a island and unlike lost new characters simply don't show up each week...
