some times the units select the wrong collection reference any idea why...
Units using same monster though different collection references Union Confederate.... some times they use the wrong one ... any thoughts as to why?
i imagine the col ref name is close since they are duplicates ... could it be too many variations with n the col ref... or something...
seems silly to have to dulicate the monster to fix this... especially since it might/would mess with artifact restrictions....

No idea if you're hitting a bug I encountered long, long ago with Rocket Dorf Fest where units would floyn to other players' colors if some sort of threshhold was reached.
For example, if you and I played a 2-team game and we each had 40 of the same unit, I might see 8 of your player colors on *my* team, and vice versa. This disappears when you detach and re-select units, but of course if there is only one player per team (i.e. no one to detach to) it doesn't work.
Not sure if this is the same or a related effect to what you are seeing, but wanted to mention it as we saw it will large numbers of the same/similar types of units.
I ended up creating duplicate monsters (probably along the lines of what you described) and it helped - but we still see the effect now and then.

exactly what i am encountering... some times no hue change at all is used ... and when you detach those same units back to the player they go back to the no hue change...
I added in more hue changes... ie maxed out the 5 variations and this has cut the appearence down a bit though its rather anoying
especially since blue and gray is rather specific for uniforms....
Im not sure if i can split all the monsters to both blue and gray versions since they have monster changing artifact pick ups... I can live with the occasional union soldier wearing a confederate color... though no hue change at all is something that is rather discouraging...
seems to happen in about 1 out of every 10 games..
