Hello, everyone. I have a weird problem...I've looked thru the forum somewhat and couldn't find anything relating to my problem. I have the 1.5 patch for PC. Ok, when I first started up Myth, I decided to to the tutorial level, and it loaded up and worked. But, when I started the actual game, it gets to the part where it loads up the "Crow's Nest" level (the progress bar) it just goes back to the main menu of the game. I tried the memory trick I saw in another post, that did nothing, I tried changing the compatibility mode, that did nothing... I am at a loss, anyone know how to fix this?

Did you make a full install from the CD?

If you installed from an abandonwarez version that may be a problem as it won't necessarily work with the 1.5 patch.

What is the output from the Myth_log.txt file?

No, I found a copy at a used game store. I did the large install, and I assume you only chose one of the options when you apply the patch, and I tried both. Here's what the logfile says says:

Hm, I went to gamefaqs.com and tried the level select cheat, and the 2nd level loads up fine. I guess that somewhat fixes the problem. But any info for the above would be great, thanks.

My guess is either

* The CD was a pirated version
* The CD is scatched
* The CD is a non-English version

You could try downloading artsound.gor from
http://www.mariusnet.com/files/downloads.php?z=377
unzip it to /Myth_TFL/tags/

My MD5s
8dc9386fa90600ad59fdf9bcd1ba89d1 *artsound.gor
ed4c29471052a3f3b8bf38cc8e93e98f *CUTSCENE.GOR
eb841d9b935703744352228308081ded *tags.gor

You could get Myth 2 and play the TFL levels on that
http://projectmagma.net/downloads/TFL_Solo/
All the multiplayer action is on Myth 2.

I agree with Edd, seeing as the first level is actually called Crow's Bridge and not Crow's Nest.

Yeah, that was a typo on my behalf, but if you look at the error log, it shows up as "Crows Bridge"

i've got exactly the same problem. I've been looking into this forum and can see that many people who recently tried to reinstall TFL were facing the same issue.

Do you have a non-English version of TFL? Have you tried using the artsound.gor as linked to from above?
