I've been interested in making some myth promotional movies for youtube and stuff but I've had trouble finding a good in-game camera that is compatible with myth. Does anybody know of a program that can do this?

Thanks for reading!

I think that you would use Snapz Pro and capture everything on screen as you watch your films.

Then you edit your footage in a video editor.

Pretty sure that's what Ducky did to make his awesome movies.

Hey Sard, I think that you've seen already my Myth video: http://pl.youtube.com/watch?v=YTHsfrgVVmQ

I captured all those films using Fraps, never used Snapz, but I think those are similar apps.

Yes, Enculator also used the app gug used. That's a Windows app. Snapz may be both Windows and Mac, not sure, but one version is definitely OS X.

Enc actually made a nice tutorial detailing his process, but he'll never recognize a topic with the very general name of "Question" as a place to share his specific knowledge. I know he's posted his tutorial in a couple places, not sure where exactly! However, since gugusm found this post, he might be able to give more details on his own processes.

Basically capture what you're watching (Myth films) with one of the mentioned video capture apps as your raw footage, then edit in a video editor. Make it reel nice [sic] and then share with us :)

Frum, enc's article that I know of was how to turn Myth recordings into animated gifs - but since the first part of the process is how to make a MOVIE out of a Myth recording, I assume that's the article you are talking about?

It's probably still here on the forums somewhere, but there's also an archive copy here (at the Myth Graveyard).

Well, capturing is very easy, you just run your app, run Myth, click hotkey and that's it. But of course you have to use also some video editor. If you don't want to make anything special, you can even use Windows Movie Maker, but if you want to make a nice movie, I would recommend getting some good editor. I used Sony Vegas.
