Playing Myth 1 TFL maps with Myth 2

Hi, 1st post.
Is it possible to load and play original Myth The Fallen Lords maps in Myth 2? The original Myth happens to be my favorite of the official trilogy. (O'Connell and Salvatori were at their best w/ the soundtrack.) If this is not possible, then are there any Project Magma-like updates that modernize the original Myth?
My apologies if this has been asked and answered. I did use the search feature.

Wow, very nice
Bonus points if the original TFL level briefings/cutscenes work with this map pack, but that's almost certainly asking too much.

Myth II 1.7 will play the TFL cutscenes If you place the TFL CUTSCENE.GOR file in your cutscenes folder, provided you are on a platform that supports smacker playback (everything but the UB, I believe.)

The narrations/journal entries are including with The Fallen Levels plugin. Melekor mentioned the "cutscene.gor" file, you can find it in your Myth TFL CD. Place it in your "cutscenes" folder (you may have to make this folder) within your Myth II folder. Of course the cutscenes are optional. Also if you check the "vTFL" box when playing these or other plugins, Myth 2 uses TFL like physics and other properties.
Also, if you download the
Myth II 1.6 Interfaces, extract that zip and place it in your plugins folder. It includes 3 plugins, one of them being a TFL Interface. To enable it go to Preferences and press the Interfaces button. Select it and press OK. It will make your Myth 2 interface look like TFL. Which includes the main menu with TFL music to even status bar, everything.

You may also like to check out an update for Myth TFL itself, that's Myth TFL 1.5:

I'm not sure what did they change in comparison to original version (but I assume there were a lot of changes), but that's the newest patch for TFL.
