after a line of units fire they still close in on the target even though the extended flag is checked and the "Doesn't Close on Target - is checked
any idea why this isnt work...? "whats considered a valid attack?

thanks PT.

" This applies to Melee units with both long and short-range attacks, such as bre'Unor. By default, such units will creep forward between attacks and eventually switch to the short range option and charge the enemy. This option lets you tell them to stand still if they have a valid attack to use."

Do those units have a melee attack? Are they labeled as melee class units instead of something like missle?

they have a missle attack and a meelee attack they are set as missle units and checked box to not advance in between attacks though they do still anyway

fire reload pause then fire again when vetting allows them to have faster recovery from attack... though they fire reload march until they can fire again... not sure what i am missing...

Do you know if it worked differently in 1.4?

Do you have the "Use Extended" flag checked? All extended monster flags require it. And I guess you never looked back on that bug report you made. More details are needed, well maybe just the local that you can't seem to open in Loathing 1.7 but that still opens for 308.

im pretty sure this unit is the same across all builds so its nothing new.... definitely the same in 1.6 I think its just that this one handles attack different.... ie the other soldiers have a dummy attack that maybe helps them pause... just not sure why checking that flag didnt simply work ;)

I would guess its just a fear settings thing... that can be overcome...
