Yo guys,
I have 2 vga cards that I found back in the month ...
1. Geforce nvidia MX4 series [MX440] (128mb)
2. ATI Radeon 9200 series [RV280] (128mb)
...
so the both cards having the same memory made me ask this question !
I don't know how good they're both and stuff .. but just wanted to know which one is better .
Also :
Nvidia card has a coolant fan , ATI lacks it ..

Those cards are both from around ~2001-2002. So, they're both really old.
In general the 9200 is probably the more powerful hardware, but it's difficult to say specifically which one would be better for Myth. I wouldn't be surprised if the MX440 was actually better for Myth because of better drivers.

yeah I've been using mx440 for sometime ... Have thrown it on some games and it did quite well .... i'm far from being a gamer btw !
also i googled them both cards and the only major difference i see is that ati supports directx while mx440 doesnt .

If we tell you neither, does that mean you won't play? You know, just wondering......

actually i already made the conclusion :
geforce is better for myth because of a higher texels/sec (700million) and can support singel GPU
on other hand ati is a better card because it can render with directX.

Falcon, both of them can do DirectX (actually Direct3D). I don't know where you're getting that.
Here's a good page to compare the specs:

Again though, you won't be able to tell which one is better for Myth without actually trying both. I'll hazard a guess that the geforce would be better because of superior drivers. Let us know the results if you compare their performance.
