Can text be pasted into Myth chat boxes? - (the less I can type the better)

Hey All,

Just curious if there is some magic way to "paste" text into the chat box of Myth?

This is not for in-game yelling or whispering chat, but for in the pre/post game area or the lobby. Things like URLs would be so sweet to paste there, wouldn't they?

Seems like a right-click of the mouse would be a really nice way to go.

Is there a way to do this that I'm missing? (I'm on a PC btw)

I don't know of a way to do that. It sounds like it might be more of a PlayMyth.net issue than a game code issue.

I'm not sure I'd want some people to be able to easily spam the chat though, so mb the issue is best left alone

Yeah, I'd thought of that as well - would have to be a limited paste of X chars and only paste once.

Heck, it's getting complicated already!

No, this would be a Myth client issue and at this point it's a lil too late to ask for it as a new feature.

Oh yeah, I know - was just curious if there was some way it was done already that I didn't know (such as a Mac method that I wouldn't know being on a PC).
