Lmoth games NOT saying "Flag captured" in SD

Ok so for the past week or so i have been playing on marius.net and i keep noticing that in Lmoth games when SD has been going for a bit, when somebody captures the flag because nobody else is within contesting range it isnt saying "Flag captured" anymore. Then all of a sudden the game ends with "Game over"
This is really a pain when the player that owns the flag has gray team colors like the contested flag does, because you cant notice the flag change to his color at all.
Is this a 1.7.1 bug? whats going on. I can see it not saying flag captured if there are too many sound channels being used for the sounds of combat, BUT it also isnt showing the text "flag captured" on the screen. I just watched the film again while writing this, and it also isnt allways saying flag contested. This is a major problem in Lmoth games. If its not a 1.7.1 bug can it be fixed just because this really screws up lmoth games? I have not tested terries or other flag based games to see if this occurs.
