Anyone familar with Java?

Reason I ask is because I was hoping someone could make heads or tails of this: http://www.markusstengel.de/shiny/en/i_4_1_3_1.html

It includes the source and a bunch of helper files, I just don't have ANY idea how to get this thing working.
