print screen in windows 7

does anyone know why on windows 7 I hit print screen, open photoshop 7, new image, paste...and I get a black empty image?
this using myth with open gl and high res dtextures

Print screen doesn't work in fullscreen/exclusive mode, try it in windowed.

Also try ALT-printscreen. This captures only the current window and may even work in full-screen mode (I don't recall). Alternatively FRAPS can capture screenshots and save them automatically with a bindable hotkey. Not sure if this is crippled in the free version though.
