An open letter to Jon God

Dear Jonathan,
I apologize for posting your precious textures link on a public website. I also apologize for further promoting it to many of the active players. Perhaps it would have been better that no one had leaked it at all so I could still be looking at the same boring color maps instead of appreciating the hard work you put into, but to that idea I must say, 'No sir, thank you'.
Perhaps if you are getting discouraged because people are enjoying your work, then you are really not enjoying your work at all. Perhaps it is a sign that you are discouraged from completing the project in the first place, because where is this game really going to go? Those textures make this game fresh and new again, they are probably one of its only hopes to 'go' anywhere.
Taking pride in things is a horrible way to live life, but I am hoping that you realize I do not take 'pride' in 'finding' your textures and wish for you to not find the attention I have garnished for them discouraging from completing your work and instead find it even more encouraging to complete.
In conclusion, I apologize for promoting your beta work before it was completed, but I will not apologize for showing my appreciation for the work you have done by sharing it with others.
Sincerely,
Robert J. Parish
