Anyone seen a copy of Maramyth lately (the Marathon TC for Myth II)? I've looked around for a while and don't see any sign of it. Every reference to it just has a dead link...

Say, the Maramyth tagset isn't supposed to work with single player maps is it?

Is MaraMyth the same as the Somewhere In The Heavens tagset?
Okay I got the models but now I'm too dumb to do anything with 'em

I believe SitH is different. As is ISOYG, which is the one on udoghl. Unless I'm mistaken, Maramyth is another creation altogether, and I'm yet to find it anywhere :\

It'd be really nice though to make a new tagset that had 1.5 features such as units being propelled by damage, and inventory weapons switching. Plus the sprites all shortened a bit as it may give the impression of a more correct view angle.

Iron, are these what you're looking for, or are they 'ISOYG' ?

Image

they're 71.1mb. I don't think I've got the original archive file as I've got a habbit of deleting them.

Btw, the forum won't let me embed png images for some reason.

My ISOYG tagset is called "ISOYG_Tagset_1.0", so I think Maramyth is different. I'm sure they'd be smaller zipped?

Ah, that's the one. I didn't realize there were so many versions. ISOYG works great, but it looks like MaraMyth has a better map collection. It would be great to get a hold of those.

Maramyth and ISOYG came from two different groups of guys who originally were working together as a team until one of them took what they had and released some of it as his own work. To my understanding neither of the projects were finished due to lack of commitment and work ethic.

Hm... I once started up a similar project... Porting a few Pfhor units to Myth II, etc.
I'm going to work on it once again as soon as Loathing, Fear and Amber are carbonized. :;):

Lack of commitment I can see, of course, but how does someone have a work ethic regarding their leisure activities?

Someone level with me! Is everyone who creates something for Myth getting paid but me?
