Myth - Where? How?

Hello! I have been playing Myth: TFL and SB since they both first came out, most of my childhood was spent playing TFL's online. I do occasionally come back to Myth, I dig out my old discs and download everything I have to on here.

My problem is that I have recently bought myself a Macbook pro. Obviously my old Myth discs don't work. Where would I go about finding a mac version of Myth 2? I can't find any shops that sell it. Do I just need the demo? I have bootcamp installed, but I only use it for Visual Studio.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Also finally, does anyone know where(and if) I can get myself a Myth poster? The artwork from the book that came with the original game was stunning.

That's news to me - I always thought that Myth 1 and 2 were hybrid discs (with both Mac and PC on them).

I haven't actually tried putting the discs in, I had absolutely no idea they were hybrid! Thankyou for the help :) Should be a good Myth filled night tonight!

No worries! The only other suggestion I would've had is that the Mac version of 1.7 should still be able to read the tags and other files from the PC CD - I did that with a 3rd party patch for Myth III, years ago when I only had a PC version lying around.

Happy hunting!

also, bungie.net and playmyth.net have both shut their doors, but if you are looking for online mything, mariusnet.com is still up and running. Accounts are free so you don't need your old registration codes or anything.

The Myth II 1.7.2 update installer for Mac OS X will let you install the game from any Myth II CD, be it Mac, Windows, Hybrid or even the Loki Linux version.
