Vanguard Formation

Myth 1.8....
Can you please do something about the wretched unfriendliness of using the vanguard formation? Let me elaborate... when you click on the ground with every other formation, your mouse pointer is the exact center and/or front of the formation. Only slight exceptions would be rabble (still centered) and circle (centered). But with vanguard... it seems to be different all the time. Depending on how many units are selected depends where your cursor ends up. I would much prefer the click to be on the lead unit spot (tip of the arrow), or slightly down from it but still centered. If I have say 45 units selected and I click on the ground with vanguard, my cursor is halfway down the left side of the arrow, and it makes for lining up how I want it to be rather a pain. I know this formation must adjust because whether or not its even/odd number of units depends how many units are in front (1 or 2), and no other forms have this conflict. Is there a way to combine both of the even/odd occurrences and make this formation more user-friendly? Its seldom used enough, let's try to fix one of the reasons why we elect not to use it .
