Building models isn't a problem, getting them in game, and set up, is the current issue.

You can import them if you have an OS9 mac, or an emulated OS9 mac (Via SheepShaver), but you can't edit them without an OS9 mac, or OSX mac(Via a hacky build of Vegas)

Models aren't 2-D sprites, they are 3-D objects with 2-D textures (skins) on top of them. You have to import the 3-D objects themselves.

As far as I know - as JonGod said - you can't import models into Myth 2 with Amber.

Iron, "This more than anything else stopped me from finishing my last Myth project"
understood.I can't edit models without an Mac. (amber run only mac.)

Hey ... the tool "Oak" is one type of "amber" for Pc (but only set up collections, and no more). right?

You not only need a Mac, you need one capable of running OS9 or earlier as the programs involved (Vegas, Apathy) don't play well in Sheepshaver. Creating a model for myth isn't easy as you have to get coordinates exactly right in order to have them snap to the ground, and Apathy only supports 3DMF format (which 99% of 3D modelling tools don't export to) plus you can't tell if surface normals on models are correct until they're imported, and if wrong you have to do it all over again, a hugely frustrating process but nonetheless worth it if you want to get models into Myth.

The ideal alternative would be for equivalent functionality of Apathy & Vegas to be added to Oak, which would also bring it to Windows and support more common model formats.

Iron,

Understood, and also I think interesting: The ideal alternative would be for equivalent functionality of Apathy & Vegas to be added to Oak, which would also bring it to Windows and support more common model formats.

this could be done in the short run: to be added to Oak.also bring it to Windows and support more common model formats?? :)
