Can you check that your graphics drivers are updated? Go here since you have Intel graphics. Click on "Check your system for the latest updates". If it has an update for you, see if that fixes the problem.

Can you check whether the problem also occurs with the 1.8 public beta?

The stack trace doesn't look graphics related, it is crashing in get_selection_type_string. Could be corrupted tag files. OP, could you run md5sums on your tag files (as suggested here: http://tain.totalcodex.net/forum/viewto ... 261#p63225) and post the results?

Yeah, your "large install" is different from mine so it is likely corrupt.

So the only difference is the large install hash ? so it is corrupt i have to replace it with a fix one to play it , right ?

Did you type those md5sums one by one or did you copy/paste it? The "medium install" is missing a number near the start. If you typed it instead of pasting it, that could explain why that one was missing a number.

It does look like "large install" is the only obvious corrupt file, but you can replace them all once you find a working Myth2 CD to copy over the files from the CD's "tags" folder. No need to reinstall, just copy and overwrite the files you have in "tags".
