Hello all,

Trying to introduce a family member to Myth. The demo crashed after the monologue intro. I was trying to run it on a Dell Dimension 4400 with 1 GB memory. Below please find other specs. HD has changed, added USB's. Please advise. Thank you.

There should be a 1.8 demo out soon in any case, but in the meantime, after the game crashes can you go to your Myth directory and find "myth_log.txt" and post the contents here?

Also please make sure that you have updated your graphics drivers recently.

Thanks for the reply, punkUser. I'll try to experiment with the demo again. Meantime, I got things to work on 1.6.

You have a demo from 1.6.0 or did you try to install an update over a demo? The updates are for the full versions, just in case that is what you did as they can break the game in certain parts.

Thanks for he reply, Pyro. First I tried the demo, and then I got 1.6 to work on the full version. Are previous demo versions available like 1.6 and below?

I don't think the older demos are around here. If they are, you won't need them. If you have a full version of the game, why not just update it to 1.8.0?

Thanks to the Myth community for updating the game so I could share it with family members years later. I've got the game running on XP and Windows 7 systems for internet play. Game on!
