Okay, I'm sorry to bother you, but

Myth II 1.8 is developed by Project Magma.

Ie we still do not have permission (or rights) that would lay out update (or as it is more convenient to call it) in Steam Greenlight, even if we do not offer true Take2 Interactive (or even if we had) ?

No, and for any future posters since this topic constantly comes up... Take 2 owns Myth. Project Magma can only distribute *updates* to the game. No one is allowed to distribute the game files themselves without the permission of Take 2.

So no, none of these things are going to happen unless that situation changes.

Unless the plan is to overwhelm TakeTwo with requests until they finally give in and agree to let people distribute the game (which is a pretty unlikely plan for a 14 year old game which maybe a couple hundred people play regularly), whether many people have asked taketwo or only a few have asked is a meaningless distinction.

As has been said before, there is literally zero motivation for Take 2 to do anything unless large sums of money are involved, and there is no chance that anyone could recoup the sort of investment it would take. As much as we love the Myth series games, if someone is actually interested in making money, they are better off doing a similar game but not calling it Myth at this point.

It's not impossible that something random happens and the situation changes, but for now we can just be happy that they at least continue to let PM make updates (through ignorance or choice, doesn't really matter which).
