Destruction of scenery

Somehow it is possible to destroy ... say - a tree! But with the help of the explosion, and the application of direct damage, ie to give the order to attack, and the warrior attacks, destroy this tree?
You can do something like this without turning tree UNIT -> ie without breaking the limit mesh ?

It is possible to destroy scenery. Scenery items like target dummies (and fences on some maps) can be blown up.
Also, the map "Olde Sarum Arena" has a water well and trees that can be blown apart. I did not create these scenery items, the well was created by Soma and the trees were created by Tatsuo. If you look at how they are made that might help you figure out how to do what you are trying to do.

Yes, you can destroy scenery but not with a sword swing unless it is a unit or the sword attack does some sort of area of effect damage the way an explosion would.

Pyro,
but, if for exemple, a scenery "barrel" turn him into a "ambient unit"targeable, just as was done in "fear" with :
monsters : 18 rotted peasant
scenery : 18 rotted peasant
then i can destroy scnery with a sword swing ??

Yes, if you make it into a unit, you can attack it with swords if you want.

my idea is make "trap" with explosive barrels. when sword swing as it has in the game Diablo 1.
