Hey all - I'm trying to get myself back up and running so I can at least play some solo levels (and hopefully get in on the FFA league at Gate of Storms!), but the 1.8 installer fails to take control from the system when attempting to bring the app to the forefront. As in, it will not allow me to click "continue" or access any of the menu information. It still seems to be technically responsive, though, as I can quit from the dock using just "quit" without having to force quit.

Any ideas? I've alerted ProjectMagma to the issue, and hope to hear back soon.

I'm not sure how to help, the programmers aren't around much I think.

Damn. So I guess I'd have to revert then one one machine... alright. That may be doable. Thanks for the insight! It's been way too long since I've been a part of the community. Miss you dudes.

...then again... if I could get into the code, I may be able to tweak it to see what's up. I'm also a programmer with some experience in OS X. Maybe I'll have a little hackfest and see if I can figure anything out.

You know what, I don't know about an installer but maybe if you had all the myth files you could play it. msg me it's worth a try.

Thanks for the report. The programmers show up once in a while. They have been busy lately but still lurk from time to time which is why most people won't notice them.

Here is a manual install version of the 1.8.0 update for Mac. Follow the included instructions. If you find any other issues, please do report them in this forum section as the devs will eventually find their way back to Myth as they always do.

I've updated the Mac OS X 1.8 installer with a fix for the issue. It should now work. Thanks for letting us know of the problem!
