Can the devs explain the priority listing of which kind of detail texture takes priority over others if there are multiple, ie: do detail textures & detail map that's included in the plugin it's used for take priority over a purely detail texture plugin?

The textures that are included in the plugin will take priority according to the design. We figured that accidental conflicts are actually quite likely and that the plugin author's vision should be prioritized.
