Edit existing plugin ?

Hi There!,
Wondering if someone could help me. Just re-discovered the Myth II site. Brought back great memories of yon!

Really enjoying some of the maps people have made and wondering if it is possible to edit? It seems, from what I can tell Fear & Loathing are for making maps from scratch?

For instance, I am having fun with the Defend the Fort plug in

http://tain.totalcodex.net/items/show/d ... he-fort-v2

...but I would like to add a bunch of hero archers and hero dwarves. Can't figure out how to do that. This would just be for my own use. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks- Paul

juliocpaes,
I checked out your video- is there supposed to be sound? I did hear anything..

Also, I cannot figure out how to get the mesh to show up on the list for the "defend the fort v2' solo map - just to use that as an example. http://tain.totalcodex.net/items/show/d ... he-fort-v2

It seems all the mesh options are for the maps that are part of the original game levels. Is there a way to do that on a one of these solo levels?

I appreciate your help! Thanks- Paul

yes, my quick video there is no sound ...(I'm not speaking native English.)

you would have to extract this plugin (defend the fortv2) ... using tool https://tain.totalcodex.net/items/show/untag-51-win if your computer this a Win. after extracting them, place the folders in your "local" folder of myth installation. once the folders (of the "defend the fort ) are extracted in your "local" folder of myth, then "loathing" it will see the plugin and you will be able to edit it.

OK, so I did that. Untagged the plug in and added a bunch of dwarfts and bowman. How do I recompress into a plugin file? It doesn't look like I can just put this collection of folders in the 'plugin' folder...

Phaluska,

Open the tool "fear" ... click in "file" ... and "Build Plug-in file" ... named your new plugin, for sample "Defend The Fort v3" ... soo see the plugin it will appear in folder "plugins".

look here, a quick video. https://youtu.be/lSrJZb84W-Y

after, go to the game, enter in "new game" // "plugins" ... and change your plugin for "inactive" for "active" ... so try see your new plugin in list levels, if not again enter in "new game" click in shift+new game ... so you see your new plugin addict
