sound format.
image compression of your units
So basically, if you're not going to make some new units/scenery you should be fine.

some scripting things used to cause it but I believe the new vesions of Myth fixed all of that.

I can't remember ever having a plugin that didn't work unless it was some sort of mystery plugin found during random hl.udogs.net surfing (like 'odd units') which had no effect at all. Myth II: Blue seemed to just give jmen a new voice, I wondered if that was a Mac/PC thing.

I recall a funky scripting bug I hit EARLY in development of The Fallen's Vengeance, where if two waypoints were too closely set together in a Platoon's waypoint list, it would crash PCs to desktop

Just make sure your plugin works under OS X on macs and it should be fine under windows. The heart of the issue is that Windows got protected memory before Macs, so it was possible for bad plugins to cause memory corruption but not cause a crash on Macs running the classic OSes. But Windows systems would crash the plugin right away, now that Macs have memory protection also via OS X they will crash just like the Windows version.
Also in the various updates we have fixed places in code that could cause memory coruption by bad plugins, so things are better all the way around these days.

b-b-b-b-b-But What About Freedom???
Hahaha.
I just wish everyone would use OS9. It's obvious (just by looking at Freedom) that I don't have the know-how to fix whatever the hell made it crash on people.

Just a quick FYI, not looking to start a long debate or anything. But the upcoming release of TFL 1.5 will be the last major update from Project Magma to support OS 9. Aside from any minor 1.5.x updates for TFL or Myth II any and all future updates will run only on MacOS X and various windows versions(exact ones yet to be determined).

I looked at freedom. it seems the scripting got corrupted on 1 or 2 of the levels somehow. I'll have to look at it again. It works fine on my OSX box, but scews the PC. Like there are characters in there that the PC can't handle or something. I love the plug WW, don't ever forget that. I'll dig in and report back today or tomorrow what i find.
