We were playing last night, we were about a quarter to a third of the way through, and dante gets a golem over to our side, right?...well he kicks stuff here and there for about 5 mins, but then he ends up getting stoned, so we heal him, he's still just an allied unit...then a marl confuses him and starts attacking him...and when the golem is unconfused, he is suddenly under my control...I ended up giving him to my FGer and the duo made quite a pair, but I can't help but think we've hit a bug.

sure sounds like it... Maybe the option for that MazzV v3 will be required after all. Can include Oz's new cmap! :) I would've made one... no time now though :(

I've seen that happen recently too, but it's an engine bug and out of my ability to fix via tags or scripting.

By necessity, Golems and Trow share the same object tag, so if Golems couldn't be confused, neither could Trow. Nor would stasis work on Trow then.

I think that'd be worse than fixing a rare and minor bug, even if I were crazy enough to ask people to download 47 Megs yet again.

Just a comment - it should be possible to make an optional patch with the new colourmap (nice spelling Willy) so that if you don't want it you can stick to the previous one. That is, just having a different map shouldn't cause OOS.

Neat, Iron. So just build a new plugin with the same exact name and players will be able to join either one?
