I realize making a new resource for all of the Myth mods out there would be quite the task. I offer my services as a web page designer that we might speed up the process.
In the mean time, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a site where I can DL a few of the old classics, such as the Seventh God, Jinn, Bushido, Homeland, Dreamseedz etc.
It would be very cool if the magma team could get permission to use some of the unique units made for those conversions/maps. Anyone know if the makers of Dreamseedz or Homeland is still around? I'd like to know what programs they used to model/animate those new units.

The guy who made the Dreamseedz units (I think he went by the name of MPM) disappeared from Myth five years ago when he got a job in the game dev industry.
Cydonian made all the units for Creation's maps. I think he used 3DS Max, but I could be wrong

You *could* be - see, I don't know if he used the same package for all his units, but in the readme for 1861 he credits Animation:Master for it's included horse model. Thusly, I think he must have used Animation:Master on more than one occasion, having the horse and all.
He was actually a really good guy, letting me use said horse bitmaps in uh, my uh... shameless plug. I mean cavalry unit.

Cydonian used Animation Master(HASH) to make many if not all of the units he made for myth.

There you have it.
In all my fruitless efforts in 3D, I've only ever had partial success with Anim8or, Lightwave and Poser. How pathetic is that???

If you are looking for info _about_ old maps with active links to download the maps, you might try the Myth Map Atlas.
It's still growing but at last count there were over 1500 maps and plugins listed. Not ALL of them have download links, but over 1200 of them do.

(edited note: I just noticed the map atlas was mentioned by someone in an earlier post. Sorry for the double)

I've seen the Jinn cutscenes available for download a hundred times. Cid got Jinn today, but I can't for the life of me remember where I saw the damned things.
Any one got ideas?

Myth Addict has a couple of links to places you can download the Jinn Cutscenes from.
Hint: Google is your friend.
