i tried to search but i think you have to be a member.

i am jsut coming back to myth for the first time in a long time. i recently went to a friend's house and we played some lan myth 1 and it was awesome.

i was wondering if there was a thread or sticky with a noob guide for getting custom maps to work. ive shuffled the mazzarin gor into all kinds of folders in my myth 1 folder and then started games to see if it appears but i cant get it to work. do .gor files go in the plugin folder? if so i tried that. does it matter if the plugin folder has subfolders in it? for isntance all the downloads from this site put the .gor and readme in a subfolder (named for the level).

there seems to be some good and advanced work going on within this site so i am sorry if this is a huge waste of time or space for anyone. if there is a thread with these kinds of basic questions explained please point it out.

A plugin has to be in the base plugins folder to work. And yes, the .gor file is the actual data file for a plugin. If you create sub folders within the plugins folder, they won't be available.

In order to play Mazz V, you'll need to do a few things. First you must enable the plugin. Then you should press the SHIFT key as you click the okay button, enabling the Mazz V plugin.

Hope this helps...I probably shouldn't post this early in the morning. ;)

Exactly right Pistol. He's talking about a TFL version of Mazz.

Oh dear. If it's the TFL version, then you must press the space bar while clicking on the single player maps button.

What version of Myth TFL are you playing on?

If its not 1.3 or greater you, the option for plugin support is not there.

Update your install to version 1.3 or 1.5, if you have not already to take advantage of newer features.

If you've already done the above, then you should do as advised previously:
If it's the TFL version, then you must press and hold down the space bar while clicking on the single player maps button
