Apologies if this is a FAQ, but I'm hankering to play Myth TFL again if possible, and I'm wondering if it's best to do so using my old copy of Myth TFL updated to 1.5 (?) or playing "The Fallen Levels" with Myth 2 patched to (1.4? 1.5.1?). Do the Fallen Levels work with the latest Magma-created Myth 2 patch?
Thanks,
José

Hi Jose. You can play the TFL levels whichever way you like. Either through TFL 1.5 or via The Fallen Levels with Myth II 1.5.1. Both work well with Windows.

Your choice, if you're looking for solo gameplay Myth II's probably better. Otherwise it depends on your friends I guess - what they prefer.
TFL Interface for M2 - helps give the game that 'classic' feel

While Myth II does afford some gameplay additions that include aspects of Myth TFL, it does not capture many of the third party maps made for TFL, nor some of the interesting quirks that made TFL what it is... TFL.
If you are looking for a truly TFL experience go with Myth TFL with the 1.3 or 1.5 update. Otherwise, Myth II 1.5.x will provide you with a large portion of what TFL offers with some ported maps, physics, units.
The choice, as ChrisP states, comes down to your preference.
