Hello everybody,
Just thought I'd like to make some comments and suggestions if there's going to be another Mazzarin's Demise. These are about the units, starting with allied units.

Mazzarin: No complaints, except I think his robe should be darker.
Forest Giant: No complaints.
fir'Bolg: No complaints.
Paladin: I think he should be immune to Wight Pus Attacks.
Khellek Pyromancer: Great unit design!!! Well done!! :p
Djazel Electromancer: No complaints, except I would like to see a collection that looks more like Kyrilla from Chimera.
Heron Guards: No complaints
Dwarves (TFL versions, SB versions and Dwarven Mortar): No complaints.
Berserkers: Nothing wrong with them, but they could be like the Hi Res ones from Frenzy and RotD.

Evil Units:
Archers: On really hard difficulties, it would be really cool if hostile Archers sometimes used a special bow, if they had one.
Dwarves: No complaints.
Thrall: No complaints.
Mauls: No complaints.
Mini boss things: Very neat monsters.
Dragons: Very neat monsters.
Ghols: No complaints.
Other evil units: No complaints I can think of...
The Watcher: Very cool unit!
New Units:
Warrior Ghosts or at least Warriors have been warped (as in hostile Warriors): Warriors are appallingly unused!
Forest Giant Ghosts: Throw the Myrk Giant bombs and replace the monster itself.
Shades: TFL Version 'cause the TFL ones look cool! They could also be a mini mini mini boss.
Ghast?: Could be a possibility, but it would really irritate some people, so it's up to you...

Phew! That took ages to write!

I still have login issues...

I don't know how to say it, but I really don't think ROTD or MazzV come close to as fun as MazzIII/IV. I'm not sure why I find it that way :O

Lugas that sounds like a mazz V Tagset. No need to make it mazz 6.

Ah, Mazzarin's Unlife (I).
The piled living surrounded Mazzarin, and at last he knew the number of their days, and Disperal Dreamed the lot of them.

"Phew! That took ages to write!"

But... you just listed all the things from Mazz V and said "no complaints" to each one.
This is really more a basic review of Mazz 5 than anything, isn't it?

Well yes, kind of...
Definitely!
There is one issue: How come the Berserks are low res ones. I have a Hi Res Tag-set but in Mazzarin's Demise V, the Berserks are low res.

Ah, but the Mazzarin's Demise series was never about story. If that were the case, the series would never have made it to M2 from TFL. The problem with making a new one is in sufficiently improving the gameplay to warrent a 6th installment. After five successes, the expectations would be pretty high, I think, and minor improvements wouldn't cut it. Personally, I'd need something really fantastic up my sleeve before I'd even think of trying to dramatically outdo Mazz V. Of course, I probably have a little more pride invested than most. ;)

Lugas, I'm afraid none of the Mazz maps are compatible with universal tagsets. There are several custom Mazz tagsets floating around though, such as Baak's RDF one, if you're looking for interesting variations. Then of course, there are the excellent Mazz offshoots, RotD and Dream of Death.

I wasn't planning on using a Tag-set.
All I want to know is the answer to this question: Why where there Hi Res Berserks in Frenzy and RotD but not in Mazz 5?
