I'm viewing a film and both teams have the captains color of white or very light gray... on a winter map!

So you can't see any team movement AND you cannot tell the teams from each other.

It would be nice to be able to select the teams colors when viewing a film. Or, the color selection algorithm should never have allowed both teams to have nearly the same color. And the colors chosen should contrast with the majority color in the map itself.

I believe F8 toggles colors to Red vs Blue.

No, that's if you are playing the game. It doesn't work for films. Just d/l a film here and try what you said:

Also, that does not guarantee that a color will be different from the map color.

And the other issue is that there ARE no 'teams' per-se in a film. You hit F10 and every unit on the map is outlined as your own team mates, since you yourself, watching the film, are not ON a team.... in a sense you're the -1 Team observer, making everyone a friendly unit... so you cant even decipher 2 team rabble with that feature. Having the option to at least pick overhead colours for teams 1----16 would be a nice feature in films... it wouldnt have to effect the physical team units colours...
