Would it be possible to change the kill breakdown in the postgame screen so that more types show up? Most maps, especially recent ones, have more than four types of enemies. It would be nice to see more listed, maybe up to 8 types. Similarly, maybe the number of Light unit types listed near the top (with the number of kills made by each) could be expanded. It's a small thing, but if it happens to be an easy thing to do it might be worth it.

They are no longer adding anything to 1.5.2. Now all their doing is bug hunting and killing.

So it won't happen, sorry.

Ah well. At least that means 1.5.2 will be out soon. I'm tired of not releasing Grave Tidings.

(but I'm glad they're spending as much time as necessary clearing up the issues that remain, of course)

Grave Tidings?

Haha, Da Cid wanted to redo one of his characters because in hindsight he thought they both sounded too similar. Get onto him.

I don't think that the Light Unit killed and Dark Unit kills will have to be expanded. If there's only four, it allows you to know which is your best killing machine. And which Dark unit is the best at getting killed. Also, I wanted the ability to rewind Myth 2 films and to be able to port them over to Quicktime. Also, a Universal Binary is possibly in the works and while they're at it, they may add a few things as if it were just a Patch that added Intel Support.

As I understand it, 'rewinding' replays will never happen. To do a replay, it basically just runs the game again, the units all having the same instructions given to them, the projectiles all doing the same thing they did last time.

In theory it makes sense that it would be able to run itself backwards, but the replay files might wind up bigger because they'd have to have all that information that tells them what to reverse into.

Aak this is giving me a headache. Long story short, I don't think rewinding replays will ever happen.

Maybe there should be a program that edits the text file that the replay is made of, and chops out the first however many minutes or something. So if you want to record something at the end of a Mazz game.

{/doesn't know}

is the map size limit expanded one of the things that 1.5.2 will have?
I read another post that it could happen, like gigantic maps could be done...

Sure there is, it's called Resorcerer. Just don't come crying to me when you delete the wrong FFFE BB#4 or whatever the fuck you call 'em, and your computer crashes.

Another thing I would have liked would have been the ability to search through your tags in Fear. I'm usually losing the whereabouts of my tags and it would be a neat feature!

I'm not exactly sure what you mean; they're arranged alphabetically after all.

If some of them are just plain disappearing from Fear, it's because of a tag conflict--you've got two tags in one of the folders with the same 4-letter header. You can find them by actually browsing your local folder instead of using fear. That problem can be solved by creating a copy of one of the conflicting tags (which will have a different header) and then deleting the original.

I see...
I've noticed in Loathing that when you scroll using the Mighty Mouse (comes with G5/Intel Macs), it always zooms in. Is this a problem that can be solved?
Also, what I meant was a "Search Bar" in Fear. Like the search bar that appears in OS X folders.

any chance the minimap size can be changed? I play at maximum resolution and I need to keep my face 10 cm from the screen in order to see what's going on the minimap because it's soooo small.

Aha! I have a solution for your low fps problem with myth, one that is MUCH better than reverting to software rendering. Turn down your resolution! Obviously it's not ideal, but it's a hell of a lot better than software rendering. You might also want to try using an older set of drivers for your video card, some people have had luck with that.

I tried half of the resolution I was using and it didn't change anything at all. Reverting to old drivers is simply not viable.
