I read in one of the postings that the map size limit was going to be insanely increased from the 2500 x 1500 or around that to almost double.
is that expected only in the new 1.5.2 that still is not around or is it already in one of the betas and ready to download?
I would love to start working on a huge map for the Greek Project and was wondering...
thanks!

The limit has been removed completely, and you can try it out in Build 279 of 1.5.2. Though, larger maps will make Myth run slower, so be aware.

Thanks Myrd, cool to know!
What do you think would be a decent size bigger than the previous limit where it wouldn't lag ?

That would depend on how much ram the user's computer had

Does removing the limit have more effect on video RAM, or System RAM?

was the number of collections and models on map also incremented?
I did a map 2560 x 2560 and it plays on pc in single player
would there be any problems later on that you know?
is there a document that has all this info so as to not need to ask each time?
thanks so much!!!!

You can see normal mesh limits in Loathing. It's the last item in the Mesh menu.
