Scripts Lagging Behind Game
So I've made a modified Mazz 5 map that has a lot of different waves spawning, attacking, random mugering, and respawning to attack the player. But when testing the plug, the scripts start to accumulate delays. Instead of waves respawning quicker the further into the game as designed, they delay lon...

Re: the New TYPE OF MAZZARINS DEMISE
Yo ChrisP! Been wondering where you been off to. I actually jumped on here to hunt down your email address to ask if you would be cool with me releasing a map based off of Mazzarin 5. I'll still send you that message, even after seeing this out of respect :) I've got it to a playable release, wasn't...

Maximum Size of Random Action List
I'm using random action lists, and I read on here somewhere that there are only so many actions you can assign to a random action list before it won't work right. Does anyone know what that limit is? I've gone up to eight, but I'd like to go further, as I double up on certain waves to increase the c...

Re: Loathing map actions mesh limits
Hi A-Red, Yeah, I got it working fine. There is plenty I can cut out to give me all the MA parameters I need. Just been busy with other things, so playing with Myth has been put on the sidelines. And mungers are awesome! Make scripting so much easier in my opinion. Yeah, I figured out how to use the...

Re: Loathing map actions mesh limits
Been wondering what those MA parameters were. Guess I have some renaming to do. Thanks for the help!
Please excuse any double post, don't know if the first one went through.

Loathing map actions mesh limits
What is the actual limit for map actions in Loathing 1.7? I start running into problems right around 800 to 830 map actions. The actions start coming up as <unnamed action> with Type set to NONE. If I quite and restart Loathing, I can get it to take a few more before I get these problems again. It s...

Help w/ Unit Attack involving Projs and Proj. Groups
Looking for some help with a unit attack. I'm trying to make a unit that has an area-of-effect dmg attack with the unit being the epicenter of the attack. The idea is for the unit to propel projectiles in all directions in the event it is surrounded, sort of like when the cannon ball explodes on Lan...

I have an xbox live account, but don't play it much because the other players in matchmaking are such awful company. I always have held out hope it would be fun if I could find the right people. Now, I suck at Halo 2, but if you want to play for fun, hit me up. My gamer tag is:  RamaAmar I ge...

Trouble Connecting to Hotline
I've been trying to connect to udog's hotline, but keep getting connection refused. Is hl.udogs.net still public or no? I'm on an Intel Mac and have been looking for a decent hotline client. I found something called Wired Client v1.3.2 but I don't even know if this works with hotline servers. Any in...

Don't know if you'd care to know, but there is a plugin that lets you play ADT as a tagset for the origional solo levels. You can find it on udogs' Hotline: hl.udogs.net You'll need a hotline client to log on. You'll find it in User Uploads --> Rama's Folder. Download ADTSlothSoloB5.zip That would b...

Well, I got everything working. Doesn't make sense to me, but I got it working. In the script it looks for an object tag to move to, that the unit casts. I also had to make it so that the 4 letter tag for the projectile matched the 4 letter tag for the object. It works now, but leaves me wondering i...
