Tried 1.8.3b2, and that fixed the issue!

Thanks, Project Magma developers!

Sure, here you go: 2018-08-18 19:32:53 Myth II |iUniversal|p Build 446 running under MacOS 1096 (Intel) ---------------------------------------------- Loading poweruser.txt... not found. Intro is black (no video) on macOS High Sierra (v1.8.2)

Hi, all. So happy to see Myth still alive and playable after all these years. Thanks for all your efforts. Myth is one of my all-time favorite games. I just upgraded from 1.7.1 to 1.8.2, and I noticed that there was no animation/video for the intro (either upon launching 1.8.2 for the first time aft...

Re: Myth II 1.7.2 Public Beta 2

Hmmm. I decided to try toggling the various options in the Graphics section of the Preferences screen on Myth II 1.7.2 Public Beta 2. I turned on 3D Fog and VSync, etc. and tried again and then the playfield was centered, just like in 1.7.1. I turned the same Graphics options off and it was still ce...

Re: Myth II 1.7.2 Public Beta 2

Does your monitor have an auto-adjust button? Sometimes when certain resolutions look off centered, pressing that button will readjust it for that resolution. No, as I mentioned previously, it's an Apple 27" Cinema Display. It's an Apple product, so there are no buttons anywhere on it. A...

Re: Myth II 1.7.2 Public Beta 2

Do you have 2048x1152 or 1920x1080 as options in Myth? These two resolutions would also be 16:9 aspect ratio as 2560x1440. No, those options aren't available either. Looks like 16:9 support may be coming, based on GodzFire's much appreciated response, but no such support is available currently. For...

Myth II currently supports 1920x1440. 2560x1440 is just wider.

Re: Myth II 1.7.2 Public Beta 2

Any chance you could easily add support for 2560x1440 to the list of resolutions in the Preferences? That's the native resolution of my Apple Cinema Display. Thanks!
