Yes I have Wished for the ability to show the OH map on a 2nd monitor.
Would be pretty usefull.

I will have to think about it. I was mostly thinking as a feature in like 1.9 or 2.0 or something, as i dout it would ever be added to 1.8 in any fashion. I think the units and the mesh would need to support it. And sure hold down G and click to attack and stay in formation, and click on the ground and hold down F to walk and keep guys in formation. If that would be kinda easy to do and get good results sure.

Gray, i dont know why you felt the need to say that i clearly dont understand it, im asking that the ability be added so loathing CAN import/export basic lighting and model shading seprately. I am aware this isnt what happens currently. I have not seen any indication of basic lighting being included...

you arent taking into account enough senarios guys. How can i use presets to select warriors and archers if i dont want to select all my wars because maybe an enemy or enemys are trying to attack or is attacking my dorf? Or some of my wars are engaged in melee with the enemy. So i dont want to move ...

JG Maybe Ctrl + # keys or Ctrl + F keys to set and recall programmed or locked formations. You would also need some button to push (pick one thats not being used) that would allow your units in the programmed formation to kinda attack at will or what i have seen in some RTS from long ago its was cal...

I think the single most usefull thing on here is more damage types. There are soo many things that could be done with just 1 or 2 more damage types.

If there was a way to import and export mesh shading and model shading images, then I have a super tedious but perfect work around that would give me perfect results. I could break up the super giant 8192 x 6656 displacement map into "Tiles" that are all of equal size. Then i could open up...

Thats pretty much what i have done VR. It would be great if i could import model shading and mesh shading images as well, so i can fake them in photoshop like i do with the shadow maps. We only have 3 maps that are soo large as to require such work arounds, and if i had know this would be a problem ...
