when i run the installer for Myth II patch 1.51, the installer gets to instillation, then has an error and refuses to install. why? thanks

I have mac OS X 10.2.8, and when I try to use the (full) installer, it starts the app, and then after going through all the confirmation, tries to begin installing and just says error:please resart the installer. Any one know how to fix this/have any suggesstions?
