Reinstalled the GB CD. I then added the GB PAK. It runs now. I unloaded the items into the PLUGIN file. (After reviewing some of the other issues in the forum I decided to just reinstall). Just so I am clear. I had v/172 B374 loaded and running. I then added the new plugins..

New GB will not work with the new plugins???

It won't even start a new game.

So it sounds like I need to save the old games folder and reload everything without the new plugins.

No sooner than I post my rant I was able to finish it. After you clear the map of all enemy then move to the flag pole and hit "U" so the GB can voice his victory shout.

FINAL RISE: They seem to get harder and harder... This one with the base and the Flag Pole is insanely difficult. So those with any hints let me know. Ughhhh.... It's under my skin for sure.
