I wonder how creative Nightdive was with their pitches, I wonder if T2 would be any more receptive during this time of economic slowdown.
Like, whether it's transferring the rights, or just licensing them, instead of up-front money, would T2 do it for a small percentage of gross sales?

Re: myth 2 1.8 random kernel panics on osx 10.7.5
Sissy. Who uses brakes? I keep the pedal to the metal, mine's always at 90GHz. I can suck at Myth 100x faster than anyone else. Besides it has a bomb in it, if I let it go below 50GHz, it'll explode.Melekor wrote:The computer has brakes so it can slow down from 66mhz to 33mhz.

Re: myth 2 1.8 random kernel panics on osx 10.7.5
Car analogy time. It's like if you are driving your kid to school, and you get in a car crash because the brakes malfunction. You don't blame your kid for the crash just because he "caused" you to drive the car. (myth is the kid, your computer is the car) Why does your computer have brake...

Max teams?
If there are 6 players on a 6-start netmap, and max teams is set to 2, what happens when the game starts? Do I get 6 1-man teams, or 2 3-man teams?

Move Broken Cycle from udogs to Tain?
Broken Cycle sounds interesting. It doesn't seem to be on the Tain, but it is at http://hl.udogs.net/files/Gaming/%20Myth%20Series/Myth%20II%20-%20Soulblighter/Maps,%20Plugins,%20&%20Conversions/Maps/-%20Solo%20Maps/ Should it be on the Tain? Can someone upload it? Can I? This is the writeup I r...

Chat foreign language Google Translate?
Here's an idea, since we have a fair percentage of international players...if a player mostly chats in a certain language, let them set a pref (like, say, Italian), and if a player has a preferred reading language (say, English)...the chat function automatically invokes Google Translate on the typed...

Here is how to setup so you can host Myth
Ok, I finally got around to writing this. I haven't seen good documentation on this anywhere, and while a lot of people link to portforward.com, their methods aren't the best (& terrible for laptops), and they don't really seem to have good explanations. So, if you've tried & failed before (...

Re: In myth auto search function is not working
I'm starting to think this feature doesn't work anymore. I have never seen it work, and that's with a variety of plugins. Could they ALL be old versions? Anyone want to run a test with me? My autohost is up right now, and currently on a map that requires ffaleaguepackv3 (http://tain.totalcodex.net/i...

Re: Missing info & links on Magma download pages?
Older versions of OS X ran on PPC hardware AND Intel hardware I know. 10.4.4 was the 1st consumer-available version that ran on Intel. And 10.5.8 was the last version that ran on PPC. But Melekor is saying their OSX build is universal for PPC & Intel. If accurate, then what I wrote is correct, ...
