Re: Currently Updated Myth Tools List

What’s the latest on this? I feel like a lot of the tools that were working before have since failed. I posted another thread about a (currently small) project I’ve started to future proofing Myth tooling: https://tain.totalcodex.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7642 Any ideas for more tools that need som...

Re: mythextract - future proofing Myth tools

Do you have any interest in working on Oak? I've worked to replicate about 90% of Fear's functionality, and it runs on everything, including one person compiling it for linux. It also will eventually be open source. I'd love to have help with that last 10% if you're interested.

It's what you sow. That being said, it's also a chat app that feels like the 21st century Hotline.

Re: Display a date on posts listing maps?

Myrd wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2024 10:16 am I think the reason we didn't do it originally is because for a lot of the maps, we don't have an accurate date. But we could maybe make it optional so that when we do have an accurate one, we could still display it.
We could put it by upload date, with a disclaimer or something.

I'd like this too, but I don't know if it's possible - I don't have admin access. I do know that data is stored though.

Re: myth 2 levels

Oh, you will need to get ahold of a full copy of the game. the rest of the game is not available to download on the Tain. You can find a used copy online, or if you google, or use Discord, it's fairly easy to find the files online.

Re: 2022 Myth II install on Mac..issues

Outside of finding a way to get it to mount on your Mac (I am not sure the issue, if you could post more information, we can try and troubleshoot), but there are quite a few places on the internet you can track down all the files needed to get this working.

Re: Myth 2 on MacOS 15 Seqouia (spelling impossible)

As far as I know, it should work, but I've not been following any compatibility changes. If you've updated past Mojave, the tools will stop working, but the game should still run. that being said, if you're worried, maybe wait till someone can test it first.

Re: Myth TFL latest version?

No, not as of now. The latest version broke a while back. The closest you can get is to use this: https://tain.totalcodex.net/items/show/project-magmas-the-fallen-lords-local-folder You can make a separate install of Myth II, and make it run pretty close to exactly like TFL. Some minor differences m...
