Re: The Battle for Urbarahz v1.0
The biggest problem regarding difficulty is that there's some things that just aren't all that intuitive. It's little things that snow ball. Take Defense Maps that Bungie made. They always gave the player a good deal of warning most of the time about when a wave would come. Enemy waves in Urbarahz j...

Re: The Battle for Urbarahz v1.0
When I used to try and make maps, I'd always make them so that they were basically impossible for me. I'm very realistic about my Myth playing ability - just because it's impossible for me, doesn't mean the average Myth player will have a hard time beating it. Hehe. Fair enough. And you should feel...

Re: Philosophy on creating maps and plugins
Get tired of Mazz 6? How? There's so many characters to play as and master. I still haven't gotten the kinks out of my Pyromancer strategies, and the Electromancer.... and I could use a tune up with the Paladin.... And then there's the Forest Giant, Ranger, Paladin, as well as the Strider, P...

Re: The Battle for Urbarahz v1.0
I believe that some maps are hard even in lower difficulties because the people making them want the maps to be a challenge. After testing their own creations and changes, they likely know how and when to use their units. So when others play them, it seems harder to them because they don't have the...

Re: Philosophy on creating maps and plugins
My biggest interest/ and concern is how map making community has chosen to embrace the idea of Myth. In doing so it seems like many have lost sight of what Myth's original gameplay ideal was, and now design their plugins based on online Meta-gaming and tournament play. Very few people seem to ask &q...

Re: Story Confusion
People take the plot of Myth 3 seriously? That's even worse than George Lucas's prequel films. I pretend it doesn't exist. You should too. Your lives would be better for it. Now, to respond to the original post, the entire idea of Myth's story is a universe of cycles and clockwork portents. Light, a...

Re: DVD-Rs suck
I too had a serious problem with my Macbook Pro's DVD drive. Shit stopped working after less than a year, and would only read files. It was incapable of burning.
Apple's really starting to piss me off with this kind of shit.

Re: The Battle for Urbarahz v1.0
It's a brilliant production, despite it's many rough edges, though I can't help but wonder... Was it really necessary to make it so hard on the lower difficulties? Things happen very quickly, and there's very little breathing room. Almost like I'm not really focusing on a spontaneous defense, but a ...

Renwood and all you guys annoy me so much... The Great Devoid is more than just a big deep hole in the ground. It's a site of vast mystical energy, where the last of a dying race nuked a mountain into oblivion with magic the characters of Myth couldn't possible dare comprehend. You saw how Ba...

It's a shame so much drama, personal bickering, and absolutely acting like a shameless whore have polluted the Myth Community. I suppose it's one of the reasons the community is so small and was fractured for so long. Blades certainly didn't so ANYONE any favors by the way he acted. (as for the rest...

Jinn Crashing Myth 1.6, OSX 10.5
I'm getting some fatal crashing errors when I play Jinn. It usually seems to involve a scenario with explosions (like those near invisible worm thingy's), or Biana handling her mines. Just freezes for 2 seconds, then shuts down to desktop. I've had it happen 1 level before this. Usually what I do to...
