I liked it a lot, thanks for the review! One small correction, Myth 2 is not technically free, it is still owned but not distributed (no one cares). It would have been better to say it is available for cheap on ebay or amazon, or tell people to grab the free demo, then go on the metaserver for help ...

I am pretty sure that winning this on solo leg is next to impossible. The cannons are the biggest challenge to me, the scripting gives them 256 vet kills on legendary, which makes them extremely accurate. Yea there are few weird scripting errors on that map, which are not related to 1.7 or 1.8 as far as I know. I have made a plugin that just fixes level 2, so that I could play it. This seems to be the case on PC as well>selection boxes now show on units that are set not to show them... this bug started on mac build 414

1) Dead bodies and parts remain on the map 2) Units individuals, with different custom names, etc 3) Physics 4) Low requirements to play and smoothness > pretty For replay value, of course multi player and modability are essential. an invisible monster will take up an Object mesh limit, just like scenery, projectiles, etc. This limit is about 8000, so theoretically you could have upwards of 7000 invisible units, but that would leave you no room for scenery, body parts or attacks.

The only way I know around it is to make the projectile lighter, so you click say 25% of the way to hit the target (4 x 63). This does have plenty of drawbacks, but was used with great success in ww1 verdun. I also have a plug that uses this, but because the myth camera height is so low, mine will r...

Its not that hard really, as long as there are not tons of units on the map. Myth is pretty limited on what actions it can do, a lot of it depends on the map itself and how the scenery effects the units. The AI of my soldiers is mostly dumb luck, its basically the same as any other ww2 dodge script....

If you are also adding the Adaptive patrol option, it does not use difficulty settings or unit trading. The script does it all by determining the number of players in the game and randomly choosing a unit set accordingly. The easiest way to copy this is to open an adaptive mesh in ava4final in loath...

There is not an AvA tagset that would work by itself because the patrol option uses scripting to determine the number of players in the game. This means you will have to upload every map again with modified starts (as graydon said). In addition you will need to export the AvA scripts and relink the ...
