This is my experience trying to install beta 2 on an OS 10.10 mac as well.

Might just as easily be a mismatch between the invisible terrain map that the game mechanics see when doing the math on projectiles and the visible terrain that the player sees.

Just bought a 2016 MacBook Pro with OS 10.12.6 installed. Copied everything from my previous Mac with the migration utility including Myth 1.8.1. Demo I saw today actually looked worse than Myth. No idea if it has other merits but I wouldn't pay for the game in the demo.

Are you referring to an original Myth 2 CD ? Not sure what a Green Berets CD would be. If its a Myth CD I have no idea what Win 10 compatibility with older OS versions of data would be. On Mac its not an issue.
